According to Hengaw, an organization that monitors human rights in Iran, 18-year-old Parastoo Shahbazi was brutally murdered by her 29-year-old husband in Dehgolan. The tragic femicide occurred on Monday evening, May 29.
Prasto Shahbazi was forced to marry Payam Sharif, addicted to drugs, when she was only 12 years old. She leaves behind an 18-month-old child.
