On Saturday morning, April 29, 24-year-old Sharavin Hadizadeh and her cousin Hossein Hadizadeh were shot dead in the Iranian city of Khoy.
According to a well-informed source, the killer of the two was Sharavind's husband named Mustafa Hadizadeh. Mustafa is a member of the Revolutionary Guards who committed the murders with his service weapon.
To date, he has not yet been arrested. According to local residents, Sharavin is a victim of an honor killing. Two weeks before, in the same city, 28-year-old Maryam Soleimani was also murdered because of "honor".
