According to the report by Tasnim News Agency, on Friday, March 8, 2023, a 37-year-old woman from Yaftabad lost her life in Shahid Hospital in Tehran due to severe burns caused by fire. The woman and her child were set on fire by her husband.
Following her transfer to the hospital, she succumbed to her severe burns. The suspect also attempted self-immolation. Their daughter, who suffered superficial burns, was discharged from the hospital after treatment. The reasons and motives for his actions have not yet been clarified.
