On Wednesday, April 30, 2025 (10 Ordibehesht 1404), Fatemeh Sadeghi, a 39-year-old woman from Jahrom, was murdered by her husband. Her body was discovered in the restroom of a public park in the city.
According to informed sources, the perpetrator, identified as Sadegh Ranjbar, killed her after she requested a divorce. He then wrapped a scarf around her neck in an attempt to make it look like a suicide.
