A young woman from the city of Mianeh named Sanaz Ghasemi was murdered by her husband. The man claimed that the motive for committing the crime was "family disputes". According to Hengaw, this young woman, a victim of domestic violence, who was also the mother of two children, was stabbed to death at home.
Sanaz Ghasemi's husband fled the home after committing the crime and was arrested in another city. Without mentioning the details, he stated the reason for his action as previous family disputes.
