Yasaman Nosrati, a 20-year-old woman from Dargh, Jajarm County, North Khorasan Province, was murdered on the evening of Saturday, May 17, 2025, in the Amirieh recreational area of Shahroud by her 23-year-old husband, Parsa, who is from Shahroud.
According to the report, Yasaman and her husband, Parsa, were experiencing tensions due to family conflicts and suspicions of Parsa's involvement with another person. After learning about this, Yasaman requested a divorce and relinquished her dowry. Their divorce was supposed to be officially registered on the morning of that day, but Parsa, claiming he had to travel, refused to attend the notary appointment.
Later that afternoon, Parsa abducted Yasaman in front of her residence and took her to the deserts of the Amirieh area in Shahroud. According to a source close to Yasaman's family, Parsa first stabbed Yasaman several times in the shoulders, then strangled her and left her body behind.
After the murder, Parsa called Yasaman's brother and confessed to the crime. The motive for the murder was cited as family conflicts and Parsa's opposition to the divorce. The suspect was arrested , and police investigations are ongoing to further examine the case.
