On February 2, 2025, a 44-year-old woman, Shiva Navabi, and her two children, 15-year-old Kimia and 11-year-old Amirali, were killed by her husband, 51-year-old Abolfazl EinAli Mamqani, using iron pipes and wooden sticks in Bonab County.The perpetrator killed his wife and daughter while they were asleep by striking them with an iron pipe. Their 11-year-old son, who witnessed the murder of his mother and sister, attempted to escape and hid in the basement, but his father killed him by striking his head with a wooden stick.
After murdering his wife and children, the perpetrator committed suicide by placing himself under the wheels of a truck and lost his life.
