A 16-year-old girl, a victim of child marriage, was shot dead by her husband in one of the streets of Zabol. The accused claims that the motive behind the crime was "family disputes." According to a report by Hamshahri newspaper, citing law enforcement officials, the teenage girl was killed by a gunshot from a waist-collared weapon in the side. Following the injuries sustained from the gunshot by her husband, the child bride was transported to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
