On June 11, 2024, a 27-yr-old woman named Asma Pishdar was strangled by her husband in Bandar Abbas. To make his wife's death appear as a result of a house fire, the alleged murderer set their home on fire. the murderer was arrested by military forces 5 hours after committing the crime and cited family disputes as the motive for killing his wife.
