A woman was murdered by her husband in the city of Nehbandan, located in South Khorasan Province, and her six-month-old unborn child was lost as a result. The perpetrator cited the vague term "family disputes" as the motive for the crime.
On Sunday, April 20, 2025 (31 Farvardin 1404), a pregnant woman with the last name "Jamalzehi" was severely beaten by her husband, who has the last name "Sarani," in Nehbandan. After being taken to the hospital, her six-month-old fetus was lost, and she herself passed away a few hours later.
According to Mehr News Agency, the perpetrator has been arrested and stated that his motive for killing his wife was family disputes.
