A woman identified as Ayesheh Mirkazehi was killed by her husband in front of her two daughters in Zahedan. The motive for the crime has been reported as her refusal to consent to her husband's second marriage.
On Wednesday, October 23, 2024 (Aban 2, 1403 in the Persian calendar), 42-year-old Ayesheh Mirkazehi, originally from Khash and residing in Zahedan, was transferred to Khatam al-Anbiya Hospital in Zahedan after sustaining severe injuries to her abdomen and kidneys due to a violent beating by her husband. A few hours later, she succumbed to internal bleeding in the hospital's ICU.
According to the Hal Vash news outlet, the perpetrator, identified as (Y.F.), brutally assaulted his wife in front of their two daughters because she opposed his intention to marry another woman. After suffering internal bleeding, the victim was transported to the hospital by her children and relatives. Following the worsening of her condition, the assailant fled the scene.
