On Friday, March 29, 2024, a 21-year-old woman was murdered by her father in one of the villages of Abadan, in the province of Khuzestan. The motive of the suspect for committing the crime has been labeled as "Honor Killing". The young girl was suffocated.
After the murder was reported to the police, the family of the victim has consented to the killer and stated that they have no complaints against the perpetrator of this crime.
