Yeganeh Rostami, a 23-year-old resident of Mahallat, was tragically killed by her uncle, in a so-called honor killing with a hunting rifle. This young woman was on her way from Mahallat to Tehran for job hunting when she was forced off a bus in Qom by her uncle.
She was shot in the head and killed. Yeganeh Rostami had separated from her former husband just two days before the murder.
